Vocational Assessment (Labour Market Re-Entry Assessment)

The psycho-vocational assessment is utilized, in addition to the transferable skills analysis, to determine if the claimant has additional skill sets and if they are suitable candidates for retraining. The psycho vocational assessment may utilize real and/or simulated work activities, along with a battery of psychometric tests conducted by the Psychologist and Vocational Evaluator. This assists the Evaluator to determine if the claimant has additional vocational strengths or weaknesses which may not have been demonstrated through the transferable skills analysis portion of the assessment. Through this process, additional and appropriate vocational options (via direct entry and/or retraining) may be identified.  By using this methodology, recommendations have a high probability of success and are legally defensible.
